Internal Bleeding: Dedication, Experience & Talent.
.Joe Marchese – Vocals: Joe hearkens back to Internal Bleeding's original growlers of the early 1990s. He's got an incredibly heavy voice that is truly distinct and powerful. He is a veteran of the scene, having been guitarist and vocalist for underground legends Revenance, and grind maniacs Mother Brain. He has an impressive stage presence that will leave crowds begging for more.
Chris Pervelis – Guitar: Chris is the founder of Internal Bleeding, and over the 20+ years of their history he has been the driving musical force behind the band. Relentlessly focused, driven and disciplined, Chris is a dynamic force to be reckoned with. His musical tastes vary greatly — from classic rock of the 60s-70s to bee bop and fusion jazz to blues. You can hear these influences on most every Internal Bleeding release. His uncanny ability to write riffs that are both extremely heavy and memorable make him unique in the realm of death metal. He is very active in the underground as well, providing CD and website design services for numerous bands and labels.
Bill Tolley – Drums: Ever since he received his first drum set at age 6, Bill wanted to play drums in a band. His passion for the instrument kept him out of trouble during his teenage years — until of course he helped form Internal Bleeding at the age of 16. He developed a style of drumming that was unique for death metal in the early 90s. Instead of concentrating on blast beats and fast 2/4 drum patterns, he focused on fusing blast beats with a cymbal slashing style reminiscent of such greats as Mitch Mitchell, Bill Ward and John Bonham. Ask any drummer who plays their death metal with groove and feel and Bill's name is sure to come up.
Shaun Kennedy – Bass: As a fellow musician and longtime friend of the band, Jason was the natural choice for bass when Brian Hobbie decided to switch to guitar. Since joining the re-formed group in 2011 he has become an integral part of the songwriting team, contributing a wealth of creative ideas and energy to each new Internal Bleeding song. He takes his musical influences from a wide range of sources: from early blues classics, to southern rock, to jazz, and of course all forms of metal. He is a skilled slide-guitar player as well, and incorporates many slide techniques into his bass playing — something unique in the world of death metal.
Chris McCarthy – Guitar: Recently added guitarist Chris McCarthy adds an incredible amount of dimension to Internal Bleeding. On top of being a fantastic musician, Chris' energy and enthusiasm carries through in everything he does — from writing riffs to being on stage. Originally the band's touring Guitarist, Chris now has the chance to be a full-time member of the band and he's taking things to new levels of intensity.
Touring Musician – Peter Spinazola: Peter is not only a powerful presence on stage, but he is also quite an adept bassist. His normal gigs are with Massachusetts bands Dysentery and Parasitic Extirpation. He's our 'go to' guy when it comes to touring.
